Clearance approval rules

Use the Approvals tab in the Clearance editor to assign an approval rule to a clearance request. Assigning an approval rule to a Clearance specifies which approvers have permission to approve an access request in the Access Management web application.

Approval rules and descriptions describes the approval rules available in the Approvals tab.

Note:
  • If you change an approval rule to No Approval Needed, any requests associated with a clearance request are not viewable in Access Management Portal.

  • You can change an approval rule to any other different approval rule if the clearance is associated with a clearance request in the Access Management Web Portal. This change only applies to future requests and not requests in a pending state.
